Give your fashion shots the creative edge with the FUJIFILM X-T100’s Film Simulation modes
Sometimes images need a little boost to help bring them to life and with built-in filters you can add creative effects to your images in seconds. Fujifilm’s Film Simulation modes allow you to add classic film effects to your images, a bit like adding an Instagram filter. The FUJIFILM X-T100 offers several different options to suit a range of moods all recreated based on the much-loved effects that were previously produced by Fujifilm film for analogue cameras.
PROVIA/Standard
The PROVIA/Standard Film Simulation Mode is the standard mode and is suitable for a variety of subjects.
Velvia/VIVID
This Film Simulation mode is great for reproducing vivid primary colours in your images. If you’re shooting in a rural location, this will really bring out the colours of the surroundings.
ASTIA/Soft
ASTIA/Soft offers a saturated pop of colours and tones for a subdued look.
CLASSIC CHROME
Using this Film Simulation mode will enhance shadows and soften colours for a calm feel.
PRO Neg. Hi
PRO Neg. Hi is ideal for fashion photography as it reproduces natural skin tones and offers a slightly enhanced contrast.
PRO Neg. Std
Create unique shots with PRO Neg. Std which adds a low saturation and soft tones to your image.
MONOCHROME
Transform your fashion shots with this monochrome Film Simulation mode to shoot in black and white. Alter the effects with three filters – Ye (yellow), R (red) and G (green).

The Ye filter slightly enhances contrast and darkens skies, the R filter darkens skies more than the Ye filter and also enhances the contrast within your image, and the G filter is ideal for fashion and portraits as it produces pleasing skin tones.
